The tattoo did have a butterfly and they have always inspired the Crohn's Awareness community. Perhaps it is because of the lifecycle of butterflies that they are so beloved within the Crohn's and Colitis community. They start life as a caterpillar, 🐛 then transform into a formless chrysalis before emerging as the wonder that they are. 🦋 Much the same as the struggle our children face when living with a chronic condition.
